238 km are before of us, but we don´t know it in the morning, the information of our cards is between 218 and 278 km.

In Githio twigs are before signpost to Sparta. First the street is very curvy, later it is straight between Pindos, where we look olways because we like to take the street across pass from Sparta to Kalamata. There are very dark claudesden and we take another rout.






In Sparta, where they loose the traffiklights is traffik over all but it is ending at the townend. After we take sprit after the town we drive with a curvy street to Tripoli. Soon the street becomes wide and from time to time there are nice locals and petrolstations.

In Tripoli we go left after the railcrossing and drive in direction to "Kalamata". After the town the street becomes curvy, but there are no petrolstations and lokals for a rest. A last hill and we have a view to Megalopoli and his power station. Some turns, we don´t know what means the black deposits on the street (oil? rubber?), it is going down town.

Final we have many taverns and bars, wich invite to stay. But no parking place what is big enouph for two bikes and one car. So we drive right to "Karitana" and hope to find a place for rest. The street after Megopoli gives us a good sight back to the power station.

Our hope for a good dinner is over. The good asphalted curfy street, where at the beginning are stony places to rest is winding through the mountains. We know to come higher, because its becoming colder.

The map says we have to go left before Katirena and not go in. We are angry to go wrong, but it´s a big crossing! She is big, it seems like two footballfields. Here is the last petrolstation for the next 60 km.

It seems the curvs on the good built street will not become any end. After Karitena we are nearly allone on the street. If there were tan cars what comes across, it was much!

At the beginning of Andritsena money endet for the street. Through the town is only a little street and it is very bad, sometimes only the half. If there are two cars they have to range.

At the end in direktion Pygros, where you come on the left side to Apollo-Tempel , was built a big area for parking. Ww do this, we do this and go to a good meal in a little tavern.

After Andritsena it´s a bad street with ups and downs in asphalt. It is very nice to look there, but the street is very bad. Now it´s becomming warmer and warmer because we are leaving the mountains. The vegetation and street reminds us to a tour in an lower Austrian conifer wood.

Soon the civilisation retourned with little villages, where you get food and drinks and fill the petrol.

The scenery is changing after Krestena. Now we are in the valley from the river Alfios. His banks are grown with big reed and low bushes.

First we fight us through Krestena , where the way to Camping Diana should be, but we don´t find it. We are helped by a busdriver, he stopped in the center of the crossing to help us, and then the little old signs to Olympia.

After the big bridge across Alfios we see the first tip to the campingplace. The city of Olympia is now only 100 m infront of us.
