This town is smaller and lovelyer as we thought, some small houses and bungalows are built there. There are not so much souvenirshops but some bakerys, butchers, supermarkets, toolmakers or trafik. Also a bankomat jou will find there.
The mainplace is in building know and may be a good street will be built to the harbor in fiew time. Now you reach it with a hard pressend sandstreet. The walk is ending between fisherboats in a still sea.
June in Methoni is lower season. The evenings are quiet, and you
will not find any disco. July and August is much more to do here,
the people tell us. We enjoyd the days there: intensive rest bevore
we go to new tours.A own spectacle are the jets from the greek army, which are flying there and then fly over the sea with supersonic.
In
Methoni it is warmer in the first juneweeks. Here we have our
first warm night and opened our sleeping-bags. Also the days get
warmer - till 35° C - if the wind is stopping. But its not
so often! In Methoni we joined the first time our mosquitohelp.
Internetcafe Coypeios (you see only a little red sign where is
written "Cafe Romeo" steht), is two houses from castle.
1 hour for 3,- Euro, the connection is good and you find there
also a billiard-table. The youth from Methoni you will also find
