From
Githio we take the street to Areopoli, we know it from our trip
through Mani, but now we drive right. With mostly good asphalt
and not to wild curves and turns we bike to direction Kalamata.
Up and down, but to enjoy the nice scenery we have to stop.This we do in Kardamili. We park ous cycles between a moped and some cars. While we are drinkind our cafe-frappee the other vehicles are leaving and now the cycles are standing in the street. But no one is distubed because of this - we are in Greece.
Some
curves and the interesting stretch is ending. Through Kalamata
we have some intuition, sometimes we find a label. Please note,
theyr are four traffiklights in the town (and this in GR!). After
the town it is a straight street under starting jets till Messina
further a good built, light curvy street to Pylos, where we take
a second rest.
To
look for Pylos, we miss the pleasure and the energie. Elleven kilometers are now between us and our destination.
In Pylos first about a not plain street between the old aquädukt, than a brand new , the restly nine kilometers to Methoni, where we reach the campingground after a unliked driving around the town with 30°
After we leave our soaked leatherdresses, it is pleasent fresh with the seabreeze.
