Milos
Camping

The entry coming from Eretria ... and coming from Chalkida
The
entry lies in a curve, is slightly sloping, since however asphalts, passable for
each vehicle problem-free. Before the rezeption (see photo) one does not need
to have a fear to come into the crowding. The artery is broad and asphalted to
drive on the side ways from firm earth and likewise well.
The
mini market is filled with everything that you needs in such a way. Also it is
not all day opened in the lower saison under the week, but if you wants to buy
something, it will be opened gladly to all times. You can order also during the
whole season fresh bread for the next morning and if you have a special wish,
is is tried to fulfill also these.
The restaurant
and the bar were in the days, where we were at the camping Milos (1st - 12 June
2006) from Friday - Sunday opened. Because to the local centre of Eretria only
1 km (to foot in cosy speed in approx. 15 - 20 minutes to reach), a varied local
supply is secured on all days.
The prices of the restaurant were even somewhat under those of the restaurants
at the promenade in Eretria (e.g. Spaghetti Carbonara at the Milos 5, - euro,
in a Pizzeria in Eretria 5.50 euro), which caused us to night-grind on weekend
at the camping site.
Completely
unusually for a camping site: three PCs in the restaurant with InterNet binding
and plays to 1.50 euro the hour.
There are beautiful,
sanitary plants, which are kept also good clean.toalet paper is present. In the
timberwork are swallows - and it ensures for the fact that the insect population
at the place is permanently reduced.
The tent bays
are pleasantly shady by by trees and shrubs. The soil is grown with grass and
is kept always very clean.

The camping site
operators, the brothers Christos and Nikos, speak also English. They (and the
remainder of the family) are very much endeavored to do all desires of their guests.
At
the flint beach you can enjoy the sun purely or look for a shadier place under
one of the palms. When we at the beach along walked, we find Sepia, shells, seaweed
- even a small crab frightened up and fled in the sea. There and there one of
the camping site guests fins and harpoon or the dipping equipment unpacked. Christos
confirmed later our assumption: in the southern Evoikos gulf is still very "healthy"
the fauna and flora in the sea is a paradies for all those, which are gladly under
the water surface.
The stone tower
in the middle at the camping site is approx.. old and it lets 200 years assume
that one is on venerable historical battle soil. But this time the stonehill fan
is wrong! The tower was a windmill - from which also it explains itself that windows
and entrance are inserted to the country.
