In center from Nafpaktos it is very
hectical and with much traffic. Smog is laying in the air.
At best you drive (coming from west) after
the traffic light right in the little street, you will reach YANH-Beach, where
are many parking places and lovely taverns. Before saison it will be better to
go in the evening hours to eat.
The Venezian named the little town Lepanto.
The tall harbor should be save against fights. Here meet 1571 a turkisch fleet
with spanish, venecian, genuise and maltesic together. At Oxià-islands
before Achelóos river they meet holy liga. The christs win at first time
the seawar against osmanic.
The
spanish poet Cervates was mutilated here ... a statue in the harbor basin is for
his memory.

At
begin from YANH-Beach to the mainplace from Nafpaktos is the new Internet-Café
"Hobby", there were only two places installed (but more are in construction),
the quick connection was lovely. The hour you get for 3,- Euro, and the time is
very correct to pay.
There you cannot only surf, also you are able to play billard and play games with
several other PC.
