Some
kilometers outside Nafpaktos is camping Platanitis and the big door is opened!
There was closed for two years, in february 2004 a new owner opened again. The
sanitary houses are (as before) very nice and have also washdishes for children.
The complete even area is with asphalted ways. Many shadow spending trees are
there between the places. Platanitis-Camping is directly between the sea and for
the guest there is a own stony beach which is closed during the night by a fence.
You
can see to Patras, to the big new bridge is almost ready. She is 2,5 km long and
the second longest bridge of europe.

Because
noone knowa the place opened there are not so much guests. We are able to take
a place we like.
Before and after season the bikes are costs nothing - a very biker friendly place!
Restaurant is not open, but Mini-Market is open, even the bar. Is is good to sit
in the evening-hours in the summerhouse after a visit in Nafpaktos and have a
ouzo in lukewarm night.
