The
first time we enjoy Parga at the early season. The village people are happy and
relaxed. They are cleaning, planning and reconstructing. Final work before tourists
are arriving. We like it much more than their habitants in autumn, where people
are only expecting their winter holidays totally exhausted after a stressful season.In Parga hasn't changed very much since the last autumn. People are the same, they friendly greet us and are happy to see us. Only Emiliano, Rudi's cook, is not here. He is cooking otherwhere.
Terra-Bar,
our favorite internet-cafe, got one more room. A fifth PC-station is installed,
which is practically invisible. There exists only a cable, where you can connect
your laptop for the purpose of surfing, actualising your website or put your photos
into the internet.The tavern "Solutiotis" is now named "Yannis". There are some new dishes, for example Pepperonis stuffed with sheepcheese, as a starter.
We discover an interesting top-case holder, consisting of some wires. They fix, that is enough - we are in Greece.
Climate is very comfortable at the end of may. Early morning and early evening it is a little bit cold, you need a sweater. Daytime is bathing temperature. Sunshine very hot but in the shadow you can feel a little breeze. There is no rain in the afternoon, like in september.
Two
days we stay in Parga to relax a little. Sometimes we wear our jeansjackets with
many patches on them. In Greece no one knews it. We were often asked about the
dress. As they are told from us, this are all patches from festivals from the
different motorbikeclubs, which we both on these and that the jacket is a memory,
they were pleased of astonishing.
