EGIO - TOLO (2. 6. 2003)

Before we drive, we balance our baggage. The mistake from the day before should not happen again!
To be quicker, we go to highway. Exit to Nafplio is good signed. After some kilometers it´s only little street into the land. The curvy, sometimes not good looking street is beginning with a railcrossing. We drive with care, because there can be much animals on the street.

But it was not any animal, it was a policeman who jumps out of the bushes. We don't know what we have done. We are not to quick, we wear helmets, leather and boots!

The two policemen looked at us and our motorcycles.
"Where do you come from?" the one likes to know from Tjaky. - "Austria!"
"You are a woman???" he askes. - "Yes!" answeres Tjaky and smiles.
That is enough, we are allowed to drive.

Though in Greece you see more bigger motorcycles and more drivers in leather and goretexwear now, they don't have many woman drivig an own bike.

Suddenly the little road is changing to a very one, like a highway. To get patrol we have to drive to a little village. It seems they are waiting for us in the petrolstation. They are happy when we stay and drink something. A 71 jears old greek is looking for our motorcycles and writes down the ccm.

As we try to clean the glasses, the serviceman is starting to us and cleanes the windshields. He doesn't like to take any tip for it!

Once more we see: to take patrol in a little patrolstation is very interesting!

Next is Nafplio where the big traffic is waiting - quick we turn to the right! Soon we are in Tolo, where we ask some cycler for a camping. They recommand Kastraki and we reach it soon.
